Tasting Notes
This sparkling Blanc de Noir is made from 100% Annapurna Estate grown Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes were hand picked at a low sugar level that has allowed more yeasty flavours to develop. Made in the same style as the Methode Classic, the wine is soft pressed, bottle fermented and spent three years on lees.
The selected small batch fermented fruit exhibits fine flavours and a good balance. A fragrant array of citrus fruit aromas along with fresh, crisp, citrus overtones underlined by subtle yeast flavours will amuse your palate. This sparkling is long, soft and intense with a fine elegant bead
Blanc de Noir is especially appealing with salmon, sea bass, lighter meats such as veal duck and pork tenderloin, caviar, risotto or with cheese fondue.
