At Annapurna Estate we are dedicated to a fresh and unwooded style, which allows the natural flavours of the fruit to be expressed.  The palate weight is light to medium bodied; heavier than a young reisling and lighter than a chardonnay.  The flavour is reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc but with a bone-dry finish not unlike a Verdelho. It is these qualities, which make Annapurna Estate’s Pinot Gris an ideal wine for the tropical weather - perfect for warm days and balmy evenings. It is an excellent food wine that complements a wide range of dishes.  It is light and fresh enough to accompany delicate seafood without being overpowering.
